School principal arrested for attempting to rape teacher
The principal of a public school was arrested for allegedly attempting to rape a 30-year-old teacher of his school in Nandgram was on Saturday, police said.
Raj Deep Tyagi, 40, lured the teacher to come to Raj Nagar Extention in the city on the pretext of providing extra tuitions to school kids and tried to rape her, SHO Sihani gate Ashok Sisodia said.
An FIR has been lodged under sections 376 (Punishment for rape) and 511 (Punishment for attempting to commit offences punishable with imprisonment for life) of the IPC based on the complaint of the woman, he said.
